you use the MalachimBadrachim mobile application
(“the App”).

- Internal volunteer ID for the organization (for volunteers only)

- Your device’s GPS location while the app is in use
- Your approximate location over time, in order to show you nearby events and
to allow dispatchers/managers to coordinate volunteers
Location data is stored in our backend (Firestore) and is used only for operational
purposes (dispatching and event management). We do not sell or share your location
data with third parties for advertising.
1.3 Device & Technical Information
We may collect:
- Device identifiers (for push notifications)
- App version and platform (iOS/Android)
- Crash logs and basic analytics (to improve stability and performance)
1.4 Events Data
When you create, manage, or respond to events, we store information such as:
- Event type and description
- Event location (address and coordinates)
- Contact details for the event (name, phone number)
- Event status and history (created, assigned, completed)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the App and its core features
- Authenticate users and manage roles (manager, dispatcher, volunteer, etc.)
- Dispatch volunteers to relevant events, based on location and availability
- Send push notifications about new or updated events
- Maintain statistics on volunteer activity and event history
- Improve the App, troubleshoot issues, and enhance user experience
3. Push Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Apple Push Notification service (APNs)
to send push notifications (for example, new events for volunteers).
- Your device’s push token is stored in our database and associated with your user ID.
- You can control push notification permissions in your device settings.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:
- With service providers that help us operate the App (e.g. Firebase, hosting providers)

- To protect the safety, rights, or property of users, volunteers, or the organization

including secure communication (HTTPS) and access controls. However, no system can
be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

in this policy, and as required by law or organizational policies. Event history and
volunteer statistics may be retained for operational and reporting purposes.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal/operational constraints)
- Withdraw consent for certain processing (e.g. location sharing, notifications)

- Google Maps / Geocoding APIs (for addresses and locations)
